A majestic representation of a powerful creature from a stunning piece of fine-grained banded 'picture' Jasper. Skillful orientation of the natural colour zoning has enabled the Chinese craftsman lapidary to focus the attention on the lions' mane. A fine silky polish has been achieved on the body and the mane has been left with a matt sheen. Overall 9cms tall and 165cms long. Weight just inder 0.5Kgs !
