Fossil Jurassic Ammonite Dactylioceras from Germany (carded)

This specimen of Jurassic (~172 million years old) Dactylioceras athleticum is from a classic collecting locality in Schlaifhausen, Germany..

These orange-brown specimens measure on average 2-3cms across and clearly show the full (or part) coiled and ribbed shell structure. The ribs are inclined slightly forward and either simple or forking at the end.

Collected from almost every continent and abundant throughout Europe including England and these fine specimens from Germany.

Mosasaur Tooth from Morocco Avge 3cms

The Mosasaur lived on almost every continent 70-75 million years ago during the Cretaceous period of the Mesozoic Era. Nicknamed the 'Lizard of the Maas River' for its discovery in the Netherlands near Maastricht. Mosasaurs were the largest lizards ever to evolve with a length of almost 60 feet with a long snake like tail and flippered feet. It’s believed that the bite force of the Mosasaur was equal to that of a Tyrannosaurus rex. The Mosasaur was a true hunter and killer that had no rival during their existence.

Ammonite Polished Pair

Available in two average sizes and attractively presented in a clear-lid acrylic box.
These are, 'A' Grade, single Jurassic (140-200million years old) Ammonite specimens, from Madagascar, that have been accurately sawn in half and then polished on the sawn face to reveal the cell structure of these fossils.
Appearance will vary from that illustrated but will be similar. Price is the same for either size.
